Taking Orders

Now that someone has decided they want to buy a card from you, you need to take their order. You have 20 order forms. One for each card that you can make from this kit, plus a couple extra. You will also gather all of the materials that are needed for that order, and you will put them in an envelope so you can keep track of it.

Price

We have found that most people are very happy to pay $4 per card. It is up to you to decide how much you are going to charge. Pricing may vary based on how hard and long it takes to create a certain card. If you sell all 15 cards at $4 per card, how much will you earn?

Responsibility

It is up to you to think about how much time you want to spend making cards, spreading joy, and earning money. You need to remember that making cards does take time and when you are making cards, you can’t do other things like play outside or watch a show. So you can choose whether you want to make 1 card a month or 5 a week.

However, once you take an order from someone you have now made a promise to that person. They are relying on you to get that card to them on time. Not only is it the right thing to do, but if you don’t complete the order on time, then that person may not want to buy other cards from you in the future.

Most importantly, you would not have helped spread joy.
